San Feng Pai School
Monasteic taoist school, following the tradition of Zhan San Feng's lineage – the legendary founder of Taiji Quan, who lived in Wu dang mountains.
School's main principles:
respect towards the tradition, respect towards each student, respect towards the lineage of teachers and masters, emphasis on the personal work and development of oneself, Wu dang mountains represent an ancient cradle of old taoist masters and their teaching.
The art of personal development is based on three main practices:
Taiji Quan – harmonizing the antitheses, restoration of inner feelings and perception, empty mind and inner peace
Liang Yi – creating of two extreme powers Yin and Yang and their use for martial forms
Cai Bu – inner work, meditation and reaching of personal cultivation via inner alchemy
Our practice:
Qi Gong:
Inevitable part of the studies of Internal Kungfu techniques is the Qi Gong practice, we practice Qi Gong of 5 elements, Qi Gong - 8 precious exercises, static positions Hun Yuan Zhan and breathing exercises.
Tai Ji Quan:
Original forms of Taiji Quan leaded to inner peace and deepening one's relationship with the universe (Tao). We practice San Feng Taiji Quan 28 forms and 13 forms, which are the original preserved forms outgoing from the character of 8 trigrams and 5 energetic changes.
Liang Yi forms:
With the change of the powers the two extremities origin: the yin and the yang
Tai Yi Wu Xing: old Wu dang form, which reflects elements of 5 animals in movement. It reveals the principle of dividing the powers of Yin and Yang, it uses rotation movements of legs and develops the Fa Jin strength. The whole form is practiced in a certain – quite dancelike – rhythm.
Xuan Wu Quan: old Wu dang form. It synthesizes elements of basic martial Internal styles and principles - Xing Yi, Ba Ji, Ba Gua, Tai Ji and Liang Yi.
Ba Ji Quan: a fighting form, Chinese bodyguards style
Ji Ben Quan: basic form of Wu dang Kungfu, it practices the basic positions, strikes and kicks.
Stretching: we pay attention a lot to the stretching exercises, as they can relax the body and it's energetic channels.
